The City of Selkirk offers a variety of structured and un-structured recreational opportunities throughout the City of Selkirk.

The Selkirk & District Community Foundation (SDCF) brings people together from all walks of life to make our communities vital places to live, work and play, for all:
This is made possible by community-minded donors who believe in supporting local not-for-profit groups that strengthen our communities.

Red River North Tourism is an incorporated, not-for-profit, all volunteer organization that develops, coordinates, and promotes activities that maximize tourism to the Red River North region.

Sport Manitoba is the leading planning, programming, and funding agency for the development of amateur sport in Manitoba. Our goal is simple: we aim to ensure every Manitoban has access to the resources they need to achieve their full athletic potential, and we do this every day by developing the skill sets of Manitoba’s athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials.

Turning people into paddlers, athletes into champions, one adventure at a time!

The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 2 Canadian kids out of organized sport. KidSport provides grants to help cover those costs to ensure that no kid is ever left watching from the sidelines.

HELPING KIDS PLAY
If you want to play, the Jumpstart program can help! Individual Child Grants help families in financial need cover the costs of participating in sport and recreation. If you have questions about the program or your your application, please email jumpstart@cantire.com.
